Rejecting Christ brings grave consequences; that is why having a God who loves us greatly is so important. God demonstrated that love by sending His Son to die in our place and take our punishment (Romans 5:8; John 3:16).
God does not want anyone to die and go to hell; He desires that everyone would come to the saving knowledge of His Son – Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:9; 1 Timothy 2:4).
