Scar Tissue Memories

• A teen age girl cuts herself a hundred times with a razor as she is locked inside her room trying to forget neglect, rejection, and abuse.

• A 27 year old man sits in an empty parking lot looking for a clean spot to stick another needle so he can grow numb to his problems for a little while

• A young boy is starring at the stitches in his wrist after a failed attempt to e…scape all of the drama in his home.

• An elderly lady looks at her body and hopes there will be no more pain inflicted today

Scar tissue tells a story; and for many, the stories are not good. Jesus had some scars; on His brow, on His back; His hands and feet show scars from this sinful world. The Bible teaches us that He suffered; but yet He did so out of love; and that by His stripes (Scars) we are healed (Isaiah 53:3-5).

If you let Him, He will help you with the pain. God loves so much, and He doesn’t want you to suffer.
